I am Christy Jones
Hi there!
I graduated from Coe College in Cedar Rapids Iowa, with an undergraduate degree in fine arts with a secondary emphasis in creative writing. I also have a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Project Management. I have been doing photography for over 25 years. My husband and I, along with our two daughters, two dogs and horses live on an acreage outside of Center Point. I actually only do my photography part-time, as I have a full-time corporate job from 7 am - 4:30 pm M-F. That is why my availability for portrait sessions is limited. Yes, I am busy! But I like it that way! I also enjoy creative nature photography as well, you will see many of my Canadian moose, caribou, and eagle pictures for purchase in my gallery along with Iowa wildlife and landscapes.


What to Expect
During your portrait session I will assist and direct you through posing, props, and expression to get you the results you are after for a natural and relaxed look. For the engagement and anniversary, or other family portrait sessions, I work hard to make sure all members are comfortable in front of the camera so we can incorporate both posed and natural moments on your special day. From a fashion forward shoot to a more reserved traditional style, I am here for you. I want your photograph experience to be fun, interactive, and to be uniquely expressive and tell YOUR story. I adapt to situations and utilize natural lighting and natural elements to capture your memories and personality. This is your day, lets have fun with it and make memories!
